The Meadowlands teen ministry seeks to develop Christlike teenagers who are actively serving in the church now and are also preparing for future service. We seek to assist parents in their God-given work of raising their teenagers. To that end, the teen ministry is carefully structured not to take away from important family time. The youth group holds a variety of events each year.
Each Sunday morning at 9:30 the teens meet together in the youth room. These classes meet to sing, study the Bible, and pray in small groups.
Wednesday Night Youth Group
The youth group meets each Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm. We typically begin with a game before hearing a message from God’s Word.
Each month, our youth group has at least one major youth activity, typically on a Friday or Saturday night. Activities include bowling, competitions in the gym, and our annual ski trip to Lake Louise.
Service and Ministry Opportunities
Our youth participate in a number of service activities. Twice a year the youth group organizes the Sunday evening service at Meadowlands. Mission Trips are also a part of the schedule with a week-long mission trip every summer.
Our teens participate in a week of summer camp each year. We join teens from churches across western Canada and participate in a variety of games and great Bible teaching and preaching.
